Antique Wooden 6 Drawer Eye Doctor Cabinet, Table Top Apothecary Medical Cubby Cabinet, Eye Glasses, Lenses
This is an antique wooden 6 drawer table top cubby cabinet from an eye doctor's office, that was used to house eye glass lenses and other inventory for eye glasses. Each drawer has 14 individual cubbies, and each are numbered with circular brass number plates. (presumably to identify specific lens styles and prescription strength) The drawers still have the original brass handles. There appears to be a small strip of trim missing along the top and sides of the front. (around the drawers)
The overall measurements of the cabinet are 17-1/2" long, 21" deep (not including the handles), and 12-1/2" tall.
This is a nice, old, original eye doctor cabinet that is in good solid shape for its age, with all of the drawers in solid working order. There is some obvious cosmetic finish wear, giving it fantastic patina.
