Russian Lacquer Box with Lid, Hand Made in the USSR, Made in 1975, Paper Mache Hand Painted Box, Fire-bird Painted Box, Flowers
This is a beautiful, hand painted, lacquer trinket box made in the USSR in 1975. Made from paper mache, then painted and lacquered, the rectangular box displays a country scene, with hills, trees, a man and a Russian Fire-bird. Signed on the box lid and the bottom of the box. Inside of the box and lid are painted red.
Original paperwork included.
Measures about 3-1/8" long x 2-1/8" wide x 1-3/8" tall.
Box is in very good, vintage, previously owned condition, with normal wear and imperfections as expected with vintage, handmade items.
Perfect to hold jewelry or other keepsakes and display on your dresser or a small table.
