Pig Stoneware Teapot with Six Cups, Mid Century Japanese Tea Set, Speckled Stoneware, Otagiri Tea Set
Japanese style, tan, speckled, stoneware, tea set. Set includes teapot with built in strainer, and six cups. Teapot and cups are painted with adorable pigs walking on grassy hills with trees in the back. Wrapped rattan handle is attached to the front and back of the teapot.
Approximate Measurements:
Teapot: 7" long from handle to spout and about 4-3/4" wide not including spout.
5-1/4" tall to top of ceramic handles, 5-1/2" tall including lid.
Cups: 2-3/4" across x 2-3/8" tall.
Handle: 5-1/4" long x 3-1/2" tall
Teapot comfortably holds 5 cups (40 ounces or about 1200 cc) of liquid.
Cups hold 1/2 cup (4 ounces or about 120 cc) of liquid.
Teapot set is in very good condition, with very minor wear noted. One cup has a very small chip on the bottom rim, please see pictures. No other chips, cracks or breaks noted. No stains noted. No damage noted to the handle.
