Nice, paper mache, Northern Shoveler, duck decoy made in the Philippines. This pretty duck is made of paper mache with realistically hand painted feathers in gray / black with light brown sides, a white breast and iridescent green head. Eyes are made of glass.
It measures 9-3/4" long from the tip of beak to tip of tail, 3-3/4" wide, and 4" tall to the top of its head.
Duck is in pretty good condition, there is a small area on the tail that looks like it has been repaired, please see above pictures. There are a few minor scratches, scuffs, dings as seen in above pictures with minor imperfections as expected with any handmade item.
Nice addition to any collector of vintage decoys or birds! Also would be perfect for your cabin in the woods!
