Hand Carved Wooden Ducks, Mother and Ducklings, Family of Ducks, "Make Way for Ducklings", Mama Duck with 9 Babies
"Make Way for Ducklings" is the title of this adorable, hand carved, wooden family of ducks. Each duckling is different in size, shape and design, making this duck family truly one of a kind.
Ducks were made over the course of several years in the 1990's, the completed set of ten (10) includes the Mother duck and nine (9) ducklings, a was given as a wedding gift by the artist. The mother duck and most of the smaller ducklings are signed and dated by the artists, Don and Claire Titlow.
All ducks have small metal eye hooks to hang on the wall.
The ducks vary in size, with the largest, Mother duck, measuring approximately 14" long x 10" tall to the top of the tail.
All the ducks are in good condition. It looks like some of the pieces were carved separately and then glued together, as some residual glue is noted on a few of them. Minor wear and imperfections as expected with any handmade, vintage item.
This handcrafted family of ducks would make a beautiful and unique gift!
