Antique Round Victorian Cast Iron Heating Grate Floor Register, Ornate Architectural Salvage
This is an early 1920's Round Ornate Cast Iron Heating Floor Register, with the original WORKING dampers.
It has a beautiful ornate design, and nice patina. This is a great architectural piece that could easily be painted to suit your decor.
It is in very good condition! The detail on the cast iron grill, is free of cracks, breaks, or other structural damage. The register is also in great shape, and the dampers open and close with ease. Some expected cosmetic wear, dirt, and light surface rust is present.
MEASUREMENTS: The top of the grate (flat face of the grate) measures 8-1/4" across, and the overall height is 2". The measurement of the inner register portion that fits into the floor is approx. 7".
