This is an old, Brass, Neptune Trident Water Meter Cover from New York, USA.
It has an awesome look, with nice embossed lettering, and a wooden base. This piece would look great sitting on an end table in the living room, or hanging on the wall. It would also be perfect to keep your everyday rings and things.
The wooden base measures 4 1/2" across. The brass meter housing measures approximately 3" across, and stands 2 1/4" tall, including the wooden base.
It is in great shape with only minor cosmetic wear.
