Red Clay Aladdin Style Teapot, Made in Japan, Brown and White Drip Glaze Teapot, Genie
Nice, Adaddin style teapot, made in Japan. Red clay pot with brown and white drip glaze styled to look like Aladdin's Lamp with nice embossed design draping down both sides like a ribbon. Bottom is marked, "Made in Japan".
Teapot measures about 7-1/2" from spout to handle x 4-1/2" wide across center x 3-1/4" tall with lid
Holds about 2-1/2 cups or 20 ounces (600 cc)
Teapot is in good condition overall with no chips, cracks or breaks noted. There are some minor glazing flaws noted on the bottom of the teapot and the bottom of the lid as seen in above pictures. There are a few minor scratches also noted on the bottom of the teapot. Mild crazing noted.
These minor flaws do not affect the integrity of this pretty little teapot. Great gift idea, to use or just for display!
