Vintage 1976 Hot Wheels Redline "Maxi Taxi", Yellow Oldsmobile Taxi with Red-Line Tires, 1977 Hot Wheels
This is a vintage, 1976 or 1977 Hot Wheels, Oldsmobile, "Maxi Taxi", toy car. Car is painted yellow with black and white checkered sides with "Maxi Taxi" and "Rate 25 cents / MI on both sides. Rear sides say "Radio Dispatched".
Bottom of the car is marked, "Hot Wheels", 1969 Mattel, Inc. Patented Us and Canada.
This model was produced only from 1976-1977, the date 1969 refers to the copyright date.
Car measures about 3" long x 1-1/4" wide x 3/4" tall.
Car is in pretty good condition overall with some wear. There is some minor damage to the plastic seats and some paint loss, but most of the words are still legible. There is no structural damage noted, the windshield and rear window are intact as well as all four wheels and axles.
Nice addition for a beginning collector of vintage toys or cars!
