Rodger Dodger Redline Hot Wheels Car, 1970's Vintage Red-Line Wheels, Plum Car with Yellow and Orange Flames, Hot Rod Toy Car
This is a vintage, Hot Wheels, Rodger Dodger toy car with Redline wheels. Car is pink / plum with orange and yellow flames. Patent date "1970" is marked on the bottom, however, this car was actually manufactured from 1974-1977. It came in the color plum, and the alternate color, blue. In 1977 a gold / chrome variation was made as well.
Bottom of the car is marked, "1970 Hot Wheels", Mattel, Inc. Hong Kong, U.S. Patented, Other U.S. and foreign pats pend."
Car measures about 2-7/8" long x 1-1/4" wide (wheel to wheel) x 3/4" tall.
Car is in good condition overall structurally, with no cracks, breaks or rust noted. Windshield, rear window, wheels and engine are intact. There are some nicks and scratches noted with some paint loss / chipping noted from use and oxidation.
Overall, a nice addition for a beginning collector of vintage toys or cars!
