Ellgreave Ironstone Teapot, Made in England, Gold Rose Porcelain Teapot, Ceramic Teapot with Gold Trim
This is a beautiful, Ellgreave, Ironstone teapot, Made in England.
Pretty white teapot with gold gilt flowers and embossed scroll design painted gold. Spout handle and lid top are also gold gilt. Teapot has a built in strainer.
Bottom is engraved, "Ellgreave, England". Bottom stamp 5 / 425 in gold.
Measures approximately 9" across handle to spout x 5" wide across the bottom and 4" wide across the top.
Pot is 4-1/2" tall to top of spout and approximately 5-1/2" tall with lid.
Teapot holds 4 cups of liquid (32 ounces /960 ml)
This teapot is in very good condition, only minor wear from previous use. There are no cracks, chips or crazing noted. Paint color intact and bright.
Would make a wonderful gift for any tea drinker.
