This is a beautiful, 1920's, Wicker, Tea Cart. Made in the U.S.A. by Heywood-Wakefield, this sturdy, Bar Harbor style cart has a two tiered wooden frame, with woven rattan / wicker edges and trim.
Four, wooden, wagon wheels have rubber tires with the two larger wheels fixed in the center. Smaller front and back wheels are on swivel castors allowing the cart to turn easily.
Removable tray fits perfectly into top, however, the glass is missing.
Metal Heywood-Wakefield tag on back frame.
Cart measures 24-1/2" wide, not including handles and 31" wide including handles x 16-1/2" deep x 30" tall.
Distance from the floor to the lower shelf is 12"
The removable tray measures 23" x 15-1/4" x 1-1/2".
Two (2) larger, fixed wheels measure 11-3/4" in circumference
Two (2) smaller, swivel wheels measure 8"
Overall this tea cart is in very good condition with no structural damage, breaks or holes in the wicker. There is minor wear with expected scuffs and scratches considering age and previous use. There are a few minor stains / water marks on the bottom tray, as seen in above pictures. The glass is missing from the removable tray, but this can be easily replaced if desired.
Please refer to pictures, this Victorian cart is in wonderful condition, and would make a great display piece in any home!
