Vintage Wicker Rattan Basket with Hinged Lid, French Brocade Basket, Suitcase Style Picnic Basket, Rectangular Basket, Rustic Storage
This is a very nice, rattan / wicker basket with hinged lid from the 1950's or 1960's. Rectangular, suitcase style basket has braided rings that attach to the lid. Two wood pegs attached to the front, fit into braided loops on the basket top to keep lid closed. Front handle is double braided for extra strength.
Measures approximately 16-1/5" long x 10" wide x 7" tall
Condition is good overall with no breaks, holes or missing pieces. Normal wear, scuffs and scratches for age of the basket and previous use.
Perfect size for a picnic, to store remotes, papers or just for display.
