Nice set of Moroccan Tam Tam, Bongo Drums. Made of clay pottery glazed with blue criss-cross pattern on white. Drum head is leather attached with leather straps that also attach drums to each other.
Usually played at traditional, Moroccan weddings and other special events.
Large drum measures approximately 7-1/2" tall, with a drum head that measures about 6" across. The overall measurements of both drums are 9-3/4" long, 6" wide x 7-1/2" tall. The bottom of the drums measures 2-1/2", and 2" across.
Drums are in good condition overall with no major structural damage. A few chips and hairline cracks in the pottery. Drum head have some wear with a few cracks in the leather on the side but are intact and drums have a nice sound when played.
