19th Century Woven Split Ash Basket with Hinged Lid, New England Gathering Basket, Shaker Handwoven Ash Basket, Rustic Storage
Beautiful, woven, wood, New England, Shaker basket from the 1800's. Small, rectangular, basket has double handles and a hinged lid. Handle ends and lid edge are reinforced with metal. Basket edge and lid are held together with nails.
Measures approximately 16-1/2" long x 10" wide x 7" tall
Condition is good overall, there is one small piece broken off on one side, please see pictures for more detail. Imperfections and wear consistent with hand made, vintage item. Very nice little basket with great patina!
