Antique Round Victorian Cast Iron Heating Grate Floor Register, Shabby Pink, Ornate Architectural Salvage
This is an early 1920's Round Ornate, Shabby Pink, Cast Iron Heating Floor Register, with the original dampers. It has a beautiful ornate design, and nice patina. This is a great architectural piece that could easily be painted to suit your decor.
The ornate grate is in good condition, free of cracks and breaks! The register has all 3 original flappers, but there appears to be something looses with one of the flaps, making it a bit hard to get closed. Some expected cosmetic wear and dirt is present.
MEASUREMENTS: The top of the grate (flat face of the grate) measures 9-1/2" across, and the overall height is 2". The measurement of the inner register portion that fits into the floor is approx. 8".
