This is an authentic, 1970's, Consolidated Railroad Corporation, No Trespassing Sign. This sign relates to the bankruptcy, and subsequent merger of the following 6 north east Railroads, when Congress passed the Regional Rail Reorganization Act of 1974. The Railroad companies were Penn Central, Erie-Lackawanna, Jersey Central, Lehigh Valley, Reading, and Lehigh & Hudson River. The 6 companies became one, under the name of Conrail (Consolidated Railroad Corp) in 1976.
This is a fantastic sign for the man cave, or to add to your collection of railroadiana.
Sign measures 24" wide x 12" tall.
Sign is in good condition, with normal cosmetic wear, including scuffs, scratches, and fading. There are no dents or other structural damage.
