This is a nice, very rare, early 1900's two wick whale oil lamp. This lamp may have been used by coal miners in the mining pit, or it may have been used for workers constructing the railroad. This is a rare example of a double wick whale oil lamp.
This awesome lamp is in great condition. free of rust, dents, holes, etc. It has the wick coiled inside, and extending through one of the spouts. The lid screws on and off with ease. It has great patina, and would look awesome displayed with your other primitive items.
Measurements: The base measures 4-1/4" across, the overall measurement from tip to tip of the spouts, is 17". The height is 6".
